Fred Kirchner - Principal, OwnerFred Kirchner graduated from Virginia Tech's College of Architecture in 1972 and became a licensed architect in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1976.
Fred started his own architectural firm in Lexington, Virginia in 1989 with his wife, Jean. Fred spearheads the design of all projects and is involved in all aspects of the process of providing complete construction documents and construction administration. Fred's broad brush of work includes educational, commercial, religious, residential and historic preservation. His firm has produced both new and renovated adaptive re-use structures and looks forward to the challenges that the future presents. |
Jean Kirchner - AssociateJean graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Art and later studied Interior Design.
Jean handles all new client contacts and Fred's digital communication. She assembles the specifications for each project and has daily input on the design of every project. Jean embodies all the advantages of working with a small, family-owned business. |
Nicholas McGhee - CAD TechnicianNick joined Kirchner & Associates Architects in 2017. After graduating from The University of Phoenix in 2013 with an associate's degree in software engineering, Nick completed his bachelor's degree in 3D modeling at Full Sail University in 2016.
In addition to his work at Kirchner & Associates, Nick is a freelance artist who runs a small independent studio in Lexington. As Fred's Architectural technician, Nick is primarily responsible for developing AutoCAD drawings on computer. |
